Senior Operations Analyst ‐Local Operations 

(BASED AT THULHIRIYA)

Strategically located within Sri Lanka’s Industrial Zone in Thulhiriya, TEXO is a fabric processing mill, offering value adding services such as dyeing, finishing and printing of cotton-based fabrics to global brands. Along with TEXO’s capability of providing customized orders, this MAS owned entity also benefits from the cost and sustainability advantage of being located within the MAS Fabric Park.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and productivity, by conducting data analysis, developing and implementing strategies to optimize resource utilization, monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPI), collaborating with cross functional teams. Responsible for identifying trends, patterns and opportunities to improve operational efficiency, and developing and implementing strategies to reduce cost, improve quality and customer service and achieve operational goals.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct global manufacturing and macro-environment scanning to identify and propose appropriate concepts and models to improve organizational productivity.
  • Liaise with operations and process teams while overseeing areas of raw material input, value additions, process quality assurance, and finished goods to ensure that unit goals are achieved.
  • Lead and budgeting process, facilitating, monitoring, and reconciling the preparation of financial budgets/ costing reports/profitability reports and analyzing the same to ensure accurate management of information and achievement of budgeted targets.
  • Formulate strategies and action plans to optimize the utilization of resources and assist the Director – Operations in driving identified strategies to evaluate internal capacity and capability.
  • Provide operational analysis and insight to the Director – Operations and plant management to improve productivity and reduce unit Costs.
  • Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following, group/company polices & procedures, best practices.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration/Operations Management/Industrial Engineering or relevant.

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Proficiency with relevant software and tools such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
