About the Role

We’re seeking a visionary and dynamic creative leader to join our Live Graphics Team. As a Senior Designer at the intersection of Experience Design and Content, you will define, elevate, and deliver world-class visuals for Netflix Live events—shaping everything from broadcast graphics packages to cross-platform creative systems. Your work will drive innovation and quality, align with the Netflix brand, and deliver unforgettable live experiences to members around the globe.

You’ll partner closely with Content, Production, and Marketing teams to establish the creative direction for live event graphics, ensuring exceptional execution of all deliverables. You’ll also collaborate with Brand, Social, Ad Sales, Events, Consumer Products, and UX partners to build connected campaigns that engage audiences at every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Vision: Set the creative direction for live event graphics, from concept through execution. Guide design and animation across broadcast, streaming, and promotional ecosystems.

  • Collaboration & Influence: Provide peer-to-peer creative leadership, nurturing talent, inspiring innovation, and raising the bar for design excellence across teams.

  • Vendor & Partner Leadership: Evaluate, select, and guide external vendors and contractors—ensuring strategic partnerships that deliver world-class creative for live events.

  • Design Systems at Scale: Develop scalable, best-in-class design systems and brand frameworks that extend beyond the event, influencing marketing and product experiences.

  • Team Building & Sustainable Practices: Lead teams in creating graphics systems, animation packages, and editorial workflows that are both innovative and built to last.
     

About You

  • Deep expertise in live production design, creative strategy, and execution, with a track record of delivering outstanding motion graphics and design systems for live content.

  • Skilled collaborator who builds strong relationships and fosters a culture of creativity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

  • High standards for craft, communication, and collaboration, with the ability to balance hands-on design with strategic leadership.

  • Curious, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity—able to simplify complexity, ask the right questions, and align solutions with business priorities.

  • Focused on scalability and sustainability, designing systems and workflows that endure beyond a single event.

The Must-Haves
  • 10+ years of professional experience in a creative studio, media organization, or broadcast environment.

  • Proven portfolio of industry-leading work that drives impact.

  • Both hands-on expertise in design and motion, and practical leadership experience.

  • Experience implementing and executing insert, wraparound, virtual, and studio graphics for live events, content packages, and feature segments.

  • Advanced knowledge of graphic design, motion graphics, animation, compositing, and associated software.

  • Ability to translate brand DNA into live graphics systems that connect seamlessly with marketing and product.

  • Deep understanding of live television deliverables and workflows.

  • Strong leadership presence, with comfort presenting to executives and leading large-scale projects.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $120,000 - $515,000.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs.  Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
