Lead as the main loan officer for SFR loans, manage the sales pipeline, structure loans, and maintain client relationships. Oversee compliance and contribute to the development of sales processes and product strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the company’s lead loan officer for SFR investor and consumer-purpose loans
- Own and manage the sales pipeline: generate leads, cultivate referral relationships, and foster high-quality opportunities
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to structure and close loans
- Expand and manage relationships with repeat investor clients
- Help define and hit monthly loan origination targets
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Help shape our lending playbook: inform product development, build scalable sales processes, and provide feedback on pricing and underwriting
- Represent the company externally—build partnerships, attend events, and help grow our brand in the investor and mortgage communities
Over time, there could be opportunity to take on broader leadership responsibilities including P&L ownership, state-by-state expansion, and team management as Head of Mortgage
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator
- Must hold an active NMLS license and qualify as a Qualified Individual (QI) in at least one state
- Proven track record originating SFR investor loans
- Strong familiarity with LOS systems (e.g., Arrive, Encompass, LendingPad) and CRM tools (Salesforce a plus)
- Knowledge of underwriting standards and loan structuring best practices
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced lending environment is a strong plus
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and hit goals in a dynamic setting
