Maxana is looking for a talented Mobile Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that push the boundaries of what's possible. As a Mobile Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while ensuring performance and reliability across our applications. You will also be building a mobile application from the ground up for our industry leading client.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement user-centric features
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues in mobile applications
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to help evolve our development practices
  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability of applications

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on iOS and Android platforms
  • Proficiency in either Swift/Objective-C for iOS development or Kotlin/Java for Android development
  • Familiarity with React Native or Flutter is needed
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration
  • Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization
  • Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience working full stack (python/django, javascript, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Portuguese is ideal
