This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Senior Mobile App UI/UX Designer to help elevate the experience of our mobile applications and digital products. We need a highly product-minded designer who can improve user flows, reduce friction, simplify experiences, create intuitive mobile interactions, collaborate closely with engineering and product teams, and help ship polished, high-quality app experiences quickly. This role is highly collaborative and execution-focused; you will contribute strategically while remaining deeply hands-on in design execution.

Mobile UX/UI Design
● Design intuitive, modern, mobile-first user experiences for iOS and Android applications
● Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes
● Improve onboarding, navigation, engagement, and feature usability
● Reduce friction and simplify complex workflows into clear user experiences
● Design polished mobile interactions that feel intuitive and effortless
● Conduct UX audits and identify opportunities to improve usability, reduce friction, and streamline mobile workflows.
● Design mobile experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

Product & User Experience Strategy
● Participate in product discovery and feature definition discussions
● Translate business requirements and operational workflows into intuitive app experiences
● Help identify UX improvements and optimization opportunities
● Balance speed and quality in a fast-moving product environment
● Advocate for the user while understanding business and technical constraints
● Use user feedback, analytics, usability findings, and behavioral insights to guide product and UX improvements.

Collaboration with Engineering
● Work closely with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible
● Collaborate during implementation to ensure design fidelity
● Review implemented features and provide UX/UI feedback before release
● Help reduce ambiguity by aligning expectations early in the process

Design Systems & Scalability
● Build and maintain scalable Figma design systems
● Create reusable components, variants, and mobile UI patterns
● Improve consistency across app experiences
● Organize developer-friendly design files and documentation

QA & Experience Validation
● Participate in UX validation and usability reviews before release
● Identify usability issues, UX inconsistencies, and friction points
● Help improve overall release quality and user experience consistency


Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience

  • Strong experience designing mobile applications for iOS and Android

  • Proven experience collaborating with engineering teams in fast-paced environments

  • Experience using product analytics and user behavior data to drive UX improvements

  • Experience improving activation, onboarding, engagement, subscription conversion, or retention within mobile apps

  • Understanding of design constraints for complex workflows and applications requiring strict data security (e.g., HIPAA compliance)

Licenses: N/A

Technical Skills:

  • Figma (advanced): Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Prototyping, Design Systems

  • Mobile UX principles, interaction design, and usability best practices

  • Developer handoff workflows and design specifications

  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with mobile development constraints, accessibility standards, and agile engineering environments
