Job Category 

QuinStreet has an immediate opening for a Senior Media Manager for our Personal Loans, Debt and Credit, and Emerging Verticals Division (“AmONE”). This role is responsible for owning a media target for this division and coordinating all efforts to achieve that target with our centralized Display/Social Paid Media team. The role includes optimizing user experiences, scaling media purchasing initiatives, and analyzing data to align media opportunities with the right clients.  

This is a hands-on role and the ideal candidate will have experience in media buying across social and display channels, data analysis, and project management to support strategic growth and drive performance. We are seeking a self-starter who has experience in customer acquisition and driving needle moving results in the lead generation space. You will be expected to deliver results in the form of margin $’s against a P&L target along with reporting progress against that target and the initiatives to achieve it. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaboration & Strategy: Act as the main point of contact between the display/social media purchasing team and the AmONE team to align strategies and drive performance. 
  • Media Optimization: Identify opportunities to scale media purchasing efforts and improve campaign performance across display and social channels. 
  • Data Analysis: Utilize Microsoft Excel, Tableau (or similar BI tools) to analyze data, identify trends, and determine the best client fit for media opportunities. 
  • Merchandising & UX Improvement: Assist in developing and optimizing new and existing user experiences to improve engagement and conversion rates. 
  • Project Management: Use Asana (or similar tools) to coordinate initiatives, track progress, and ensure alignment between teams. 
  • Performance Tracking: Work closely with stakeholders to measure campaign effectiveness, report insights, and recommend improvements. 

 

Requirements: 

  • 6+ years of experience in media buying (display and social channels preferred). 
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau or similar). 
  • Experience working with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, or Jira. 
  • Ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations for media purchasing and user experience improvements. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across teams. 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results oriented mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.  
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user experience (UX) best practices. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Paid Social and Display platforms and tools including Facebook, Google Ad Words, and Native Display networks.  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in financial services, fintech, or performance marketing.

The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 USD to $140,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
