The Senior Marketing Manager, Pursuits is a key member of the pursuits team responsible for leading all levels of proposal and related pursuit activity working in collaboration with regional operations and BD team members. The Senior Marketing Manager, Pursuits often participates in annual business planning and in recurring regional pipeline meetings. The Senior Marketing Manager, Pursuits utilizes Cumming Group’s centralized Pursuits Process as their guide in performing the full scope of their role. Maintaining a strong capture rate (>40%), a commitment to quality and continuous improvement, and being highly responsive and collaborative are paramount to success in this role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the annual business planning process facilitated by the operations/technical and business development teams.

  • Participates in regular pipeline meetings and plays an active role in the development of capture plans for major pursuits. Assists in conducting client research, as needed.

  • Works with the operations/technical and business development teams to manage the proposal process for all levels of submittals, leads proposal kick-off and update meetings, develops and edits proposal sections, manages quality, and helps ensure each proposal fully adheres to all requirements.

  • Prepares customized collateral and SOQs as required throughout the sales process for each opportunity.

  • Works with the operations/technical and BD teams to prepare client presentations including presentation slide decks, rehearsal/coaching, and graphics/leave behinds.

  • Helps to collect and file up-to-date information in our various systems and databases for use by others in marketing.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Attendance at work during normal business hours.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field required

Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience

The salary range for this full-time role is $120,200.00-$160,266.69 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
