The Impact of a Senior Marketing Manager, Partner Marketing at Coupa: 

Coupa is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to drive partner marketing strategies and initiatives across key strategic partnerships, including AWS. This role will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships, enabling partner success, and ultimately accelerating pipeline growth and revenue. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of B2B marketing, partner ecosystems, with a proven track record of impactful results.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Partner Engagement: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans tailored to AWS and Global Systems Integration Partners, aligning with overall business objectives and revenue goals.
  • To-Partner Communication Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage key partners and their prospects. This includes developing campaigns, creating newsletters, email sequences, training materials, and other lead generating activities.
  • To-Coupa Communication Strategy: Act as the voice of our partners within Coupa, developing strategies to communicate partner needs, feedback, and market insights to internal stakeholders, including product, sales, and executive leadership.
  • Content and Campaign Development: Collaborate with partners to create compelling, co-branded marketing content, including campaign offerings, case studies, whitepapers, webinars, and sales enablement materials, that resonate with their target audiences.
  • Demand Generation: Design and implement demand generation programs to drive qualified leads and pipeline, leveraging various channels such as email, digital advertising, and events.
  • Program Management: Project manage partner marketing initiatives from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and measurable results.
  • Event Liaison: Serve as a liaison to the Partner Organization and Coupa's events team for key internal and external events, ensuring partner representation, engagement, and successful execution of co-marketing activities.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of partner marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including alliances, sales, product marketing, content, and customer marketing to ensure seamless integration and consistent messaging across all partner-facing activities.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and partner feedback to identify new opportunities and areas for optimization within the partner ecosystem.

What You Will Bring to Coupa

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B enterprise software, specializing in partner, channel, or alliance marketing
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies
  • Strong cross-functional influence and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external partners
  • Excellent project and budget management abilities, handling multiple priorities and optimizing marketing spend
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce) to measure performance
  • Strategic, adaptable, and self-motivated communicator with strong critical thinking skills and a relevant bachelor’s degree

The estimated pay range for this role is $128,000 - $166,500 


The starting salary for the successful candidate will be based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
