About the Role
- Capital One Ad Solutions is the leading Bank Media Publisher. The Capital One footprint spans millions of users, thousands of retailers and billions in transactions. We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our team and play an important role in defining and communicating our product suite's value proposition and differentiators from competitors. This person will be key in reimagining The Capital One Ad Solutions brand's client-facing look and feel. This is a hands-on role working across several cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Enablement:
- In partnership with contracted designer, own the creation of all sales collateral, including but not limited to: quarterly Media Kits, product one-sheeters, conference-specific collateral, client-facing deck templates, whitepapers, case studies, and more
- Be the final eye on all collateral, ensuring a commitment to excellence in external materials and holding a high bar for clarity and execution
- Manage external facing site design, email design and social channels
- Be the expert on our target audience(s). Understand who they are, what they need, what competitive solutions they have available to them, how we fit in, and how to effectively communicate our value proposition directly to them.
- In partnership with contracted designer, own the creation of all sales collateral, including but not limited to: quarterly Media Kits, product one-sheeters, conference-specific collateral, client-facing deck templates, whitepapers, case studies, and more
- Competitive and Market Analysis
- Manage competitive intelligence gathering on a quarterly basis. Understand the collateral that is in-market, and ensure that Capital One Shopping is best in class.
- Perform value proposition analysis, gain internal & external alignment with key stakeholders, and then work to bring that messaging, including data & proof points, to life across all creative & respective customer segments. Continue to test and optimize messaging.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to provide them with the necessary tools and materials to effectively communicate the Capital One Shopping product value proposition
- Collaborate with the Events team to ensure cohesive branding and messaging for all external conferences and client meetings.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
- At least 6 years of experience in a marketing, sales enablement or go-to-market role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- 4+ years of experience in Affiliate Marketing or Retail Media
