The primary focus of our data scientists is to devise robust, actionable, and marketing focused solutions to drive our clients’ business. We are seeking talented data scientists who are deeply experienced in the application of advanced statistics and econometric methodologies around Market Research. We want you to be intellectually-driven, results focused, and pragmatic self-starters who possess the ability to work as a key contributing team member supporting end-to-end solutions development.
Responsibilities:
Focus on survey-based market research efforts especially around top of funnel marketing (awareness, consideration).
Consult on, design and execute quantitative research for a variety of survey-based marketing research projects.
Work in close collaboration with cross-discipline team (Marketing, Survey implementation team) to assist in determining requirements and developing use cases to guide the development of data science solutions
Audit survey setup and KPIs being measured. Be the authority in survey data and suggest changes to the research setup, so as to enable effective advanced analytics.
Continuous research into the advancement of statistical or econometric methodologies with the “always on” goal to drive business action.
Collaborate with global data science teams to develop solutions relevant to multiple markets
Assist in the development of documentation for use cases, implementation and methodological approach for multiple audiences
Assist in the management of multiple solution development pipelines
Qualifications:
3-5 years of hands-on working experience in Data Science capacity solving high-impact business problems in marketing.
Strong understanding of survey data and analyzing survey questionnaires and the ability to build out a questionnaire.
Experience with Python or R and database (SQL). Knowledge of survey platforms with built in analytics.
Knowledge of analyzing both quantitative and quality data from market research.
An empathetic approach to understanding and developing use cases in collaboration with team leadership and diverse clients, both internal and external
Demonstrated research with applied statistics and quantitative modelling with Survey Data (e.g., building sample weights, effectiveness of adding new questions to the questionnaire, choice modeling, regressions, segmentation, experimentation, machine learning methodologies)
Ability to work with urgency, agility, and a focus on achievable solutions that work to address marketplace requirements at speed
Deep curiosity about the problem domain and an analytical approach
Possess the ability to collaborate closely with the team, take ownership, and operate independently to solutions using a combination of critical thinking and initiative
The annual salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
