Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for safety and quality minded Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to be a part of the Fabrication Composites leadership team in Puyallup Washington.
A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.

- Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
- Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse manufacturing teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change
- Proficiency with Microsoft office tool suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost
- 3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
- 3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
- 3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment
