Solutions include:

  • Foundational Finance – Establish a finance organization that quickly and accurately produces financial reporting

  • Transactions – Successfully execute transactions and events, including corporate or private equity carve-outs and acquisitions; minimize risk and maximize return

  • Transformation and Turnaround – Enable Finance to serve as a business partner and support better business performance

Ankura Office of the CFO Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Office of the CFO Senior Managing Director role is an executive level position that sells, leads and manages client engagement team(s) through finance-led transformations.

Primary Focus

  • Drive our heavy sales and marketing lift with corporate clients and in the Private Equity channel

  • Provide finance operations diligence capabilities in middle market PE portfolio companies

  • Proactively identify and pursue new revenue opportunities while managing existing revenue streams

  • Fully functional SMDs will be expected to deliver $2.5M-$5M within 12 months

  • Support Corporate clients with Finance Transformation program management and specific initiatives

  • Support PE and Corporate clients with accounting advisory solutions for complex SEC reporting, purchase accounting, financial restatements, material weakness remediations, IPO readiness

  • Support Corporate and Private Capital clients with M&A integration and Carve-out support solutions, including program management, Day 1 readiness, TSA management, synergy planning and capture, and financial modeling and analytics.

  • Lead / mentor / coach our OCFO practice in sales and marketing techniques to achieve greater team sales pull through

  • Create a foothold in key Corporate or PE clients of his/her own while creating accretive opportunities in new client situations

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in business development and project execution roles with a heavy emphasis on leading transformations or transactions with Corporate or PE backed portfolio companies within the middle market through Fortune 500

  • Capability to step into an Interim Finance leadership role with Corporate or private capital backed portfolio company

  • Excellent written and oral communications to drive top line growth through established referral network; ability to coordinate and deliver Ankura services to new and existing clients

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
