Who is Boulevard?

Boulevard provides the first and only client experience platform for appointment-based, self-care businesses. We empower our customers to give their clients more of the magical moments that matter most.

Before launching in 2016, our founders spent months interviewing salon managers and working behind front desks to understand their pain points so we could design a modern, user-friendly platform that meets the unique needs of their business. Our roots may be in hair salons, but we are built for the broader self-care industry, including many types of salons, spas, medspa, barbershops, and more. Our technology not only helps our customers survive but thrive. Take a look at how we (and YOU) can make that happen.

We have an insatiable curiosity and embrace experimentation. We believe that simple solutions require the most sophistication, and we design each and every detail to maximize potential, power, and impact. Do our values match? Read through our story and what we value the most.

Our team values and celebrates our diverse backgrounds. Being open about who we are and what we do allows us to do the best work of our lives. We believe in equal opportunity for all, and you should too.

At Boulevard, the Senior Manager, Web is responsible for turning our website into a durable, high-performing growth asset. This role owns how prospects experience Boulevard across the customer decision-making funnel from discovery and evaluation through conversion, with direct accountability for website conversion rate optimization, site performance, and bottom-of-the-funnel SEO impact.

This is a highly cross-functional role that blends strategy with execution. You’ll own website management end-to-end, partner with internal teams and external developers or agencies, and build a disciplined CRO and execute a bottom-funnel SEO and AEO/GEO program that improves conversion, velocity, and pipeline contribution as Boulevard scales.

Experience/Skills Needed:

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in web, growth, or digital marketing roles with clear ownership of website performance
  • Experience managing a team inclusive of marketing managers, web developers, and external agencies, with the ability to prioritize, scope, and deliver work effectively
  • Strong understanding of bottom-funnel SEO (intent-driven pages, product and solution pages, technical page optimizations)
  • Comfortable working hands-on with various CMSs, 3rd party integrations, analytics and experimentation tools
  • Proven experience owning conversion rate optimization (CRO) programs
  • Knowledge of web compliance standards including GDPR, CCPA and ADA
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate user behavior into actionable improvements
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Demand/Growth, Sales, SDRs, and Marketing Operations
  • Ability to balance speed, quality, and scalability in a fast-growing environment

Bonus Experience

  • Familiarity with Contentful and other headless CMS platforms
  • Experience managing a website redesign and leveraging RFPs to find agencies
  • Prior work in B2B SaaS or vertical SaaS
  • Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks, UTMs, tag managers and statistical rigor
  • Experience improving site performance across multi-location and multi-persona use cases
Day-to-day:
  • Own the strategy, execution, and ongoing optimization of Boulevard’s website
  • Manage our web function including a digital growth manager, web developers and/or agency partners, setting priorities and ensuring high-quality delivery
  • Build and run a structured CRO program, from hypothesis development through testing, analysis, and rollout
  • Optimize bottom-funnel pages to improve CVR, lead quality, and pipeline impact
  • Lead bottom-funnel SEO efforts, ensuring high-intent pages are discoverable, performant, and conversion-focused
  • Strong alignment with sales and SDRs to align web experiences with buyer needs
  • Partner with channel managers, product marketers, paid managers, SEO, legal and agencies, to deliver a comprehensive website serving various stakeholder needs
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations and Analytics to ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and measurement
  • Monitor site performance, user behavior, and conversion trends to identify opportunities and risks
  • Improve web systems, processes, and tooling to support scale and speed over time

At Boulevard, we work hard to structure compensation in a way that balances internal equity with local market competitiveness, and we’re happy to share a good-faith estimate of the base salary range for this role. For U.S. based candidates, the anticipated base salary range is $117,500 - $160,000 per year. In addition to this base compensation, this role may be eligible to participate in a variable compensation program. Final compensation will vary based on a variety of factors which include but are not limited to applicable experience, location, and final leveling.

In addition to the wonderful people you’ll get to work with and challenging projects that’ll push you - Boulevard is here to make sure you’re always at the top of your game emotionally, mentally, and physically.

  • ✨ We’ve got you covered with a 401(k) match plus dental, medical, vision, and life insurance.

  • 🏝 Take a break whenever you need with our flexible vacation day policy.

  • 🖥 Fully remote so you can choose where you want to work. You’ll receive a work from home stipend every month.

  • 💚 Family planning resources and specialized support programs.

  • 🔮 Equity: get ahead on the ground floor and grow with Boulevard.

  • 💅 Boulevard Bucks Learning and Development program allows employees to explore businesses in the market we serve.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
