1. Strategic Advisory & Business Review

  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to subsidiary General Managers and leadership teams, providing insight, challenge, and support on key business decisions
  • Lead and oversee annual Operating Plan (OP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) processes, ensuring analytical rigor and alignment with Tencent group strategy
  • Support subsidiaries in optimizing strategies to achieve financial and strategic objectives
  • Define, track, and monitor a balanced scorecard of KPIs to measure performance against strategic and financial commitments
  • Lead QBRs, board meetings, and other governance forums, providing objective analysis of performance, risks, and opportunities

2. Business Synergy Enablement & Integration

  • Identify, evaluate, and advocate for high-impact synergy opportunities between the subsidiaries and Level Infinite publishing business
  • Facilitate and project-manage cross-border strategic initiatives, serving as a bridge to overcome operational and cultural challenges
  • Ensure subsidiaries effectively leverage Tencent’s global resources, capabilities, and best practices
  • Provide strategic context and education to stakeholders on both sides to foster mutual understanding and collaborative success

3. Performance Monitoring & Governance

  • Maintain a data-driven, objective view of the subsidiary’s operational and financial health
  • Analyze key performance drivers, market trends, and competitive moves to provide proactive insights and recommendations
  • Review major investment proposals, partnership deals, and strategic initiatives, ensuring sound business case rationale ang alignment with corporate priorities

4. Gaming Industry & Publishing Expertise

  • Apply deep knowledge of the North American gaming and publishing landscape to inform strategy and decision-making
  • Partner closely with Level Infinite and cross-functional teams to drive publishing strategy, operational synergies, and business growth
Who We Look For
  • 7+ years of experience in corporate strategy, business management, operations, or management consulting
  • Experience in a corporate HQ role overseeing subsidiaries or strategy leadership experience within a subsidiary working closely with a parent company
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive strategic change without direct authority, strong stakeholder management in complex, matrixed environments
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with experience in strategic planning cycles, performance management (OKRs/KPIs), and business case development
  • Solid understanding of the video game/publishing industry, including platforms, and development lifecycles.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree 

Location State(s)

US-California-Los Angeles

The expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $87,300.00 to $224,900.00 per year. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Employees hired for this position may be eligible for a sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Subject to the terms and conditions of the plans in effect, hired applicants are also eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan. The Employee is also eligible for up to 15 to 25 days of vacation per year (depending on the employee’s tenure), up to 13 days of holidays throughout the calendar year, and up to 10 days of paid sick leave per year. Your benefits may be adjusted to reflect your location, employment status, duration of employment with the company, and position level.
