Who You Are
HighLevel is seeking an experienced & highly motivated Senior Manager, Strategic Finance  focused on supporting our Product function, helping us develop the frameworks to influence decision making for some of our most business-critical questions. You’ll partner cross-functionally with leaders across the business to inform resource allocation, define operational and financial KPIs for key initiatives, own revenue forecasting, and proactively identify ways to improve capital allocation. We are looking for someone with extremely strong analytical + modeling skills with a clear track record of partnering with, and influencing, cross-functional teams with experience in SaaS - and preferably usage-based + payments business models. You will report directly to the Head of Finance. 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Strategic Impact & Executive Partnership: Play a central role in defining how the team partners across the organization, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader to help influence key business decisions
  • Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Own and improve the company’s long-range financial model for our usage-based and payments products, embedding deeply across the business to identify, quantify and capture changes in GTM, product strategy, operational efficiency, etc.
  • Decision Support: Partner with senior product leaders to deliver  financial insights and scenario modeling, influencing strategic initiatives, resource allocation, and investment decisions by leveraging an in-depth understanding of market dynamics, unit economics, pricing strategies, etc. - helping ensure financial assumptions translate into measurable outcomes
  • Board & Investor Materials: Lead, supervise and prepare board reporting, financial insights, forecasts, and KPIs to strengthen performance narratives for the board of directors, investors, and executive stakeholders.
  • Business Case Development: Build robust operational + financial models for major projects, including ROI, LTV/CAC and payback analysis, to help teams quantify trade-offs between driving growth + profitability
  • KPI Development & Tracking: Define and track key performance indicators across various Product surface areas and lead performance measurement initiatives to drive accountability and transparency.
  • Corporate Development Support: Lead, guide the collection and analysis of external financial/operational data, and interpret market trends and competitor activities to deliver benchmarking analysis and influence decision making for key stakeholders, including management and investors.
  • AI-enabled Process Improvement: Identify and spearhead opportunities to leverage AI-based tools to streamline existing processes + improve precision, helping unlock team capacity to focus on other ad-hoc or high-impact analysis
  • Team Capability Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing strategic finance team, build succession pipelines, ensure knowledge transfer. Position the team as a go-to strategic partner across the organization.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with at least 2-4 years of experience in the strategic finance function within a late-stage / high-growth tech or public company environment
  • Experience in SaaS, preferably with a usage-based business model component
  • Excellent business partnering skills, particularly with non-financial leaders; track record of advising operational and financial improvements across multiple areas in the business
  • Willingness and ability to operate at multiple levels - deep within the details and big picture - with strong awareness of when to leverage each to achieve a targeted outcome
  • Advanced modeling skills, including strong understanding of bottoms-up financial modeling and tying together unit economics to the overall business impact
  • Ability to jump into ambiguous questions or situations, identify the key variables and drive toward a successful outcome
  • Ability to story-tell with data / analysis and distill complex topics and tradeoffs into a simple framework to influence decision making
  • Possess a bias toward action, strong work ethic, and player-coach mentality with experience driving operational outcomes under tight timelines
  • Extremely detail oriented, highly organized and able to balance multiple projects / thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced experience with Excel / Google sheets, and BI tools (Tableau)
  • Strong Candidates May Also Bring:
  • Track record of using AI to improve forecasting methodologies or drive process improvements
  • Payments and/or fintech experience
