Location & FlexibilityOur Enterprise Applications Solutions Architects are key contributors to the success of enterprise transformation programs. This role will prioritize candidates able to maintain an in-office presence in a hybrid capacity (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays). Locations include Boston, MA; Charlottesville, VA; or Durham, NC. We are also open to candidates based remotely in the U.S.
The OpportunityAs an Enterprise Applications Solutions Architect, you will drive innovation and transformation through the design and implementation of complex enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, SAP, or Salesforce. You'll work closely with internal teams, partners, and clients to architect scalable solutions that modernize legacy systems, automate workflows, and improve enterprise efficiency. This is a pivotal role blending pre-sales support, technical leadership, and strategic consulting.
ResponsibilitiesLead discovery sessions to understand client business processes, pain points, and system environments
Architect end-to-end enterprise solutions using ServiceNow, SAP, or Salesforce (based on area of expertise)
Translate business needs into detailed system requirements, solution designs, and integration plans
Support sales efforts by creating compelling proposals, demos, and proof-of-concepts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, project management) to ensure alignment and feasibility
Drive data and systems integration across ERP, CRM, ITSM, HR, and Finance ecosystems
Serve as a trusted advisor, recommending best practices for platform usage, configuration, and extensibility
Stay current with platform roadmaps, trends, and emerging capabilities to inform architecture decisions
Mentor junior consultants and engineers in platform capabilities and enterprise application design
7+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise applications consulting, or platform implementation
Deep expertise in one or more enterprise platforms: ServiceNow, SAP (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, etc.), or Salesforce (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, etc.)
Strong grasp of enterprise system design, including workflow automation, data modeling, integrations, and API usage
Proven ability to lead large-scale implementation and transformation programs
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern development practices
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills applied to enterprise-level challenges
Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Platform certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, Salesforce Application Architect, SAP Certified Solution Architect)
Experience in regulated industries (e.g., telecom, finance, healthcare) and related compliance standards
Knowledge of agile delivery methods, enterprise change management, and DevOps integration
Familiarity with middleware, data lakes, and enterprise reporting tools
Experience migrating from legacy systems (e.g., Siebel, PeopleSoft, Remedy) to cloud-native platforms
