Job Description Summary:

Rocket customers are the who's who of the Fortune 500 and rely on us to provide enterprise solutions that run their operations.The Senior Manager, at Rocket Software's Gen AI Center Of Excellence is responsible for the team building the future of Gen AI at Rocket. You will manage a dynamic team of engineers that has won industry awards and analyst recognition in building out enterprise features based on the latest advancements in GenAI. You will also play a pivotal role in Rocket's adoption of GenAI bringing, knowledge, process and best practices to Rocket's teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage with executive level leadership to accomplish strategic product development and quality goals
- Inspires a culture of innovation within the team, ensuring our leadership in the industry
- Leading and setting direction for design and implementation of software features/functionality, testing, correction of defects and/or creation of new products
- Responsible for leading the development and quality assurance teams to review customer requirements, holding design meetings, conduct peer code reviews, and ensuring the team is delivering the correct requirements
- Coaching and mentoring team members of all skill levels to perform optimally
- Building out the development and testing teams in the region and will be required to onboard your team and assist in training your new team members
- Ensure that bug fixes are released in a timely manner and that the development team is responsive to the global technical support team
- Implementing corporate policies regarding product development processes, standards and automation, and will ensure the development team is adhering to those standards to operate efficiently
- Will be highly organized and detail-oriented, and you must track the activity of all global developer and test staff members to ensure not only that customer expectations are met, but also to plan for future innovation
- Collaborate with other Rocketeers across geographies and technologies to ensure Rocket remains the leader in the industry
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing a team of technical engineers working with complex enterprise software products
- Proven track record of synthesizing multiple internal and external sources of input into product requirements
- Strong leadership skills and experience successfully managing a globally dispersed team
- Experience in Agile development methodologies
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to deal professionally and collaboratively with all levels of the organization and across geographies
- Experience working with customers, professional services,, product management and senior leadership to synthesize and deliver capabilities on time and under budget
