The Opportunity

As the Senior Manager of Service Products, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving the success of InCharge’s InService offering. You’ll lead efforts to productize and manage our portfolio of service solutions, helping define and scale innovative, customer-focused services that support operational uptime and long-term performance of EV infrastructure.

Your mission will be to create a service product portfolio that evolves with market needs, meets customer expectations, and enables scalable growth. You’ll oversee everything from gathering the Voice of the Customer (VoC) and defining product requirements to building business cases, participating in RFPs (in collaboration with Service Operations), and managing product launches.

This role ensures service offerings are fully integrated into the service organization, enhanced by InControl, and aligned with the various hardware platforms we support. The team is also responsible for developing and maintaining a product roadmap, ensuring service capabilities remain forward-looking and market-relevant. You’ll help translate technical features into business language and ensure sales and operations teams are equipped with the tools and training they need to scale effectively.

This role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer and will own end-to-end oversight of the processes that support asset management and service delivery operations.

What You’ll Do

Be the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for

  • Defining service product use cases and analyzing the requirements needed to support those use cases
  • Calculating business cases to support new service offerings
  • Supporting Go/No-Go decisions based on both functional and commercial evaluation criteria
  • Managing product requirements throughout the lifecycle to ensure cohesive EV Charging Solutions are delivered
  • Supporting ongoing and new initiatives through documentation, functional requirement development, and project lifecycle participation
  • Working cross-functionally with internal teams and business stakeholders to develop strategy and drive initiatives forward
  • Planning, organizing, and monitoring requirements specifications
  • Collaborating with Software & Hardware Product Marketing Managers to implement solutions and lead end-to-end testing and data validation efforts

Collaborate With

  • Hardware & Software Product Management Teams and Product Engineering to develop new features, set up test cases, and define documentation needs
  • Product Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to gather VoC, define service requirements, and provide training and documentation to support service scaling

Report & Escalate

  • Weekly updates on product development progress and launch initiatives
  • Clear escalation of technical issues, process gaps, and inefficiencies—along with improvement recommendations

Your Experience & Capabilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or related areas such as R&D or technical business development, ideally within the energy or clean tech industry
  • Strong understanding of EVSE, Battery Energy Storage, or service operations
  • Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Analytical mindset and ability to drive data-informed decisions
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for delivering high-quality, customer-centric service solutions
  • Experience bringing technology services or products to market in fast-paced environments
  • Self-starter with a strong service orientation and “do what it takes” attitude
US Salary Range
$145,000$165,000 USD
