Job Title:Senior Manager of Sales Operations - OEM

Role Overview:

McAfee’s Global PC OEM Sales organization drives a major share of our consumer bookings. We’re looking for a hands-on individual who can run the team’s operating rhythm, keep our data precise, and turn priorities into crisp execution—so leaders can stay focused on strategic decisions rather than chasing inputs.
In this role, you will serve as the primary business partner to the VP of Global PC OEM Sales and report directly to the VP of Sales Strategy and Success, providing critical operational, analytical, and strategic support. You will help streamline processes, enable data-driven decision-making, and ensure alignment across a global organization. This is a highly visible role that sits at the center of sales execution, forecasting, and business performance.
This position is located in the USA preferably either San Jose, CA or Frisco, TX. You may be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis. We are only considering candidates in the USA and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the Role:

  • Run the cadence: Lead weekly forecasts, growth meetings (EGR), and team calls—set agendas, secure inputs, capture decisions, and follow through on actions.
  • Forecast operations: Orchestrate timely seller inputs, reconcile assumptions, and ensure accuracy and hygiene in Salesforce by the weekly cutoff. (Account owners own their numbers; you coordinate, validate, and publish.)
  • Initiative tracking: Track growth initiatives end-to-end (idea → partner alignment → executive approval → implementation → impact) with clear owners, dates, and status.
  • SharePoint as source of truth: Maintain organized, current SharePoint pages for leadership and the team (forecasts, initiative tracker, decision log, operating calendar, and slide library).
  • Executive presentations: Build and refine decision-ready decks for internal and partner meetings—storyline, visuals, and speaker notes—using a version-controlled slide library.
  • Cross-functional follow-through: Drive alignment and close loops with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Marketing; escalate risks early with options and recommendations.
  • Light finance & compliance: Tie forecasts to key drivers (attach, activation, retention, revenue-share) and coordinate with Finance and Legal/Privacy on close and required approvals.

About You:

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Revenue Operations, Chief of Staff, GTM Strategy, or Program Management roles.
  • Proven ability to run operating cadence (forecast calls, pipeline reviews, QBRs/EGRs, exec meetings) with precision and consistency.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and business performance tracking.
  • High proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM) for extracting data, validating seller inputs, and driving accuracy.
  • Experience supporting or partnering with Sales VP/SVP/C-suite leaders, ideally in a global or matrixed organization.
  • Background in consumer software, cybersecurity, device OEMs, or subscription/recurring revenue businesses.
  • Exceptional skills in creating executive-ready presentations—storyline development, data visualization, and narrative clarity.
  • Experience managing and organizing centralized repositories such as SharePoint or equivalent knowledge bases.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Marketing to drive alignment and close loops.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to translate ambiguous inputs into structured, actionable outputs.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex issues and present options with clear recommendations.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

    • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
    • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
    • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
    • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
    • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
    • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
