YOUR MISSION

You will lead Mural’s revenue operations function and practice to accelerate business performance and growth. Reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Strategy, you will serve as a strategic thought partner—proactively identifying opportunities, solving challenges, and translating company priorities into scalable, effective revenue-driving initiatives. You will drive alignment across GTM teams and deliver operational excellence.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Support the GTM planning process through projects, data analysis, and task force leadership; collaborate with GTM leaders, Finance, and HR to enable clear, data-backed decision making.

  • Design, assign, and continuously refine sales segmentation and territories in partnership with GTM leadership.

  • Develop and implement GTM compensation structures that reward performance and align incentives with business goals, partnering closely with Finance.

  • Own revenue forecasting and pipeline management, enhancing accuracy, transparency, and accountability.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain strategies for data quality, integrity, and controls to ensure reliable KPI reporting and forecasting.

  • Establish scalable workflows and processes to maximize sales productivity, operational efficiency, and knowledge sharing across the GTM organization.

  • Drive and support key strategic initiatives that directly impact business performance.

  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive best practices; proactively integrate insights to strengthen revenue operations.

  • Develop and execute holistic revenue strategies that unify GTM planning, sales enablement, and operational priorities to achieve ambitious growth targets.

  • Deliver executive-level reporting, business reviews, and actionable insights to the CRO and other senior leaders, informing strategic decision-making.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, HR, and Finance to ensure strategic alignment and drive operational excellence.

  • Champion continuous process improvement by identifying operational roadblocks and implementing high-impact solutions.

  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture; empower direct reports to innovate, experiment, and drive measurable results.

  • Mentor, develop, and retain top talent within the Revenue Operations team, identifying skill gaps and supporting career growth.

  • Balance high-level strategic thinking with a bias for execution – rolling up your sleeves to turn plans into tangible outcomes.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  •  5+ years of experience in revenue operations, with proven ability to build and scale teams.

  • Background in SaaS or technology industries; experience with both scaling and mature organizations preferred.

  • Strong expertise in GTM strategy, revenue planning, and operational execution.

  • Track record of optimizing sales processes, implementing new systems, and improving performance.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing sales compensation plans and incentive programs.

  • Skilled in financial planning, forecasting, and analyzing sales performance metrics, preferably in SaaS models.

  • Effective communicator with advanced analytical, coaching, and change management abilities; adept at facilitation and driving alignment.

  • Proficient in leveraging AI-driven tools and data to inform strategy and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Results-driven, with a passion for innovation, team development, and continuous improvement.

The base salary for this role ranges from $132,000 - $165,000 + bonus + benefits. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
