Job Description
This position is a ma nagerial role leading a team of P ackaging developers supporting the Away f rom Home and KHI categories in the Elevation Technical Platform. The manager will work directly with cross-functional partners to prioritize and execute initiatives to deliver the multi-year business plan . This role will guide direct reports, mentoring their professional development, career plans and conduct their performance appraisals. Working with the cross-functional team this manager will evaluate projects feasibility , alig n on prioritization and assign developer resources . This manager ' s team will be responsible for supporting R&D Small Batch Manufacturing while looking for opportunities to streamline and accelerate the process.
Key Components of the Role:
  • Work with cross-functional partners to prioritize and execute initiatives to deliver multi-year business plan

  • T ranslat e the consumer/business need into products that can be commercialized in a fast- paced test market environment.

  • Build strategy and long- term pipeline that offers unique package solutions that unlock NSV and/or cost efficiencies.

  • Provide technical subject matter expertise in packaging materials, applications, testing and problem-solving

  • Be a s trategic functional influence in collaboration with operations , quality and marketing

  • Guide direct reports and mentor their professional development, career plans, and conduct performance appraisals

  • Oversee R&D Small Batch Manufacturing while looking for opportunities to streamline and accelerate processes

Qualifications:
  • BS/MS/PhD in Packaging, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Packaging Development or Research and commercialization (which can include graduate work and/or internships)

  • Exhibit a collaborative mindset and a bility to apply innovative solutions are a must

  • Understand and be fluent in day-to-day routines and systems for commercialization

  • Ability to translat e consumer and business need into products that can be commercialized in a fast- paced test market environment

  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate others

  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$118,400.00 - $148,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
