The Proposals & Capture Team is responsible for championing the development and delivery of major proposals, partnering with stakeholders across Anduril’s business lines and functional teams, including growth/business development, legal, finance, engineering, program management and executive teams to win new business.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Proposals and Capture to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa supporting the Mission Systems division. In this role, you will champion the development and delivery of major proposals, partnering with stakeholders across Anduril’s business lines and functional teams, including growth/business development, legal, finance, engineering, program management and executive teams to win new business. You will provide people management, project management, and content generation skills, expertly navigating the dynamic environment of a hyper-growth company and managing competing priorities with overlapping schedules. You will craft compelling materials to inform our customers’ market research and acquisition strategies, write technical narratives on cutting edge capabilities, build and implement pricing strategies, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to close deals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • First and foremost you are accountable for submitting winning responses for high-value opportunities while spending a significant part of your day providing team leadership and supporting team members contributing to proposals across the organization
  • Manage direct reports and a demonstrate a strong ability to nurture and grow peers. Own personnel resourcing and management. Be an expert at providing top cover and guidance / review for complex opportunities
  • Contribute to, and manage, headcount planning, recruiting and hiring, team career pathways, promotions, and compensation management
  • Become a strong subject matter expert across a broad range of topics encompassing Anduril Mission Systems products (Electronic Warfare, Radar, and Advanced Imaging)
  • Partner with myriad business and technical stakeholders to pursue opportunities and execute Anduril’s capture, pricing, and outreach strategy through proposals, white papers, and other documents. Ensure the pipeline is appropriately prioritized and staffed. Monitor and flag potential opportunities to key internal stakeholders.
  • Own division/business line relationships and provide strategic input relative to that area. Be a subject matter expert in business line and divisional specific products, capabilities, pricing and strategies.
  • Own the highest priority responses for the company, if Anduril needs to win the proposal, you will be called upon to lead it
  • Understand the ground-up development of new products and bid tabula rasa efforts in new markets or verticals.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts encompassing process, content management, and other team priorities. Support planning and execution organization level initiatives.
  • Brief executive leadership on key opportunities, wins and losses, color reviews, and overall proposal strategy
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7 - 15 years experience with the Government solicitation process
  • Demonstrated ability to lead capture and proposal efforts across traditional FAR-based procurements as well as OTAs
  • Deep experience managing and winning competitive POR-level US Department of Defense solicitations
  • Experience and aptitude in building process where none exists
  • Experience managing a team of direct reports
  • Ability to clearly understand business needs, articulate critical information, and build relationships across the organization
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
  • Active TS with SCI and SAP eligibility
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior SAP/SCI experience
  • Working Knowledge of Electronic Warfare, Radar, and/or Advance Imaging Systems
  • Experience with ERP demand planning systems and integration
US Salary Range
$166,000$220,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
