At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

We’re continuing to grow, and at the heart of supporting our mission is our Talent Team.

As Netflix continues to evolve and the complexity of our organization grows, we are looking for a Senior Manager, Programs to join the Talent Acquisition team. This role will manage a small team to coordinate and manage initiatives across the broader global Talent organization while also serving as a key member of the leadership team for Strategic Programs.

This role can be based out of our offices in Los Angeles, Los Gatos, or New York City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and set the strategic roadmap for the TA Programs team. Manage and develop a high-performing team of Program Managers. Set clear expectations, raise the bar on execution, and build a culture of accountability and growth.

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of complex, global Talent Acquisition initiatives. Partner closely with Informed Captains and senior stakeholders to scope programs with rigor.

  • Drive execution from concept through launch and ensure each initiative delivers measurable business value.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to TA Leadership. Provide visibility into organizational health, surface risks early, and influence sound decision-making.

  • Design and lead change strategies that drive sustained adoption of new tools, processes, and AI-enabled workflows. Align stakeholders across regions and functions to ensure long-term behavioral change, not just successful rollouts.

  • Act as the bridge between Talent Acquisition and Talent Tech, Engineering, Product and TA Operations. Ensure core systems, such as Workday and related platforms, are optimized for scale, data integrity, and user experience. Evaluate and implement automation and AI solutions that improve efficiency and quality.

  • Standardise and evolve global program management methodologies and operating rhythms. Increase the speed, clarity, and consistency of delivery across the Talent organisation. Lead post implementation reviews and use data to continuously improve outcomes.

  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Strategic Programs, TA, and technical teams. Drive alignment, resource efficiency, and a clear, scalable operating model.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional programs, with at least 3+ years within Talent or HR environments.

  • 5+ years of people management experience, ideally leading Project or Program Managers.

  • Strong business judgment and the ability to solve complex problems with analytical rigor.

  • Proven ability to use data to tell compelling stories and drive decisions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing executive memos and building strategic presentations.

  • Strong facilitation skills in cross-functional settings.

  • Technical fluency across recruiting systems and tools, with demonstrated experience implementing automation or AI-enabled solutions at scale, or the ability to translate AI capabilities into practical, workflow-embedded solutions.

  • Deep understanding of how systems, data, and workflows connect across sourcing, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
