The Sr. Manager, Program Management will lead and manage key strategic programs within the organization, ensuring that initiatives are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. Reporting to the Director of Process & Program Management, this role will drive the development, planning, and execution of cross-functional projects, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery. The Sr. Manager, Program Manager is responsible for managing multiple programs simultaneously, implementing best practices in program management, and providing thought leadership to enhance overall operational efficiency. 

Job Description

PROGRAM LEADERSHIP & EXECUTION 

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful completion on time and within budget. 

Develop detailed program plans, define deliverables, and manage resources to ensure that all initiatives meet their intended goals. 

Monitor program progress and performance, making necessary adjustments to plans and schedules to ensure program success. 

Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related activities, providing regular updates to the Head of Process & Program Management and other senior stakeholders. 

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION 

Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments—marketing, finance, operations, IT—to ensure program objectives are aligned with overall business goals. 

Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring that roles, responsibilities, and timelines are clearly defined and communicated. 

Facilitate effective communication between project teams and leadership, resolving issues and removing obstacles to program success. 

Ensure that all departments involved in the program are aligned with key deliverables and timelines. 

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & BEST PRACTICES 

Drive continuous improvement in program management processes, implementing industry best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve program delivery, working closely with the Head of Process & Program Management to refine existing processes. 

Establish and maintain program management standards and methodologies, ensuring that all programs adhere to the organization’s established frameworks. 

RISK MANAGEMENT & ISSUE RESOLUTION 

Proactively identify potential risks to program success, developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans as needed. 

Ensure all programs comply with regulatory and internal policy requirements, maintaining governance over the entire program lifecycle. 

Manage issue resolution by working with key stakeholders to address and resolve program challenges in a timely and effective manner. 

Track and report on program risks, providing updates to senior leadership on mitigation efforts and program status. 

STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATION & REPORTING 

Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on program status, risks, financials, and performance metrics. 

Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards, presentations, and progress reports to communicate program health and key milestones. 

Facilitate program reviews with senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on program outcomes. 

Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that program objectives are clearly communicated and understood. 

TEAM LEADERSHIP & MENTORSHIP

Lead program teams with a focus on collaboration, engagement, and performance. 

Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. 

Ensure the program management team is well-equipped with the necessary tools and methodologies to successfully manage complex programs. 

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects. 

Strong experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.), with the ability to apply best practices to diverse programs. 

Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously. 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. 

Experience with risk management and issue resolution, with the ability to proactively mitigate risks to program success. 

Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 

Proficiency in program management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello, Asana). 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage 

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $85,600 - 128,400 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
