About the Role

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Manager, Performance Acquisition to lead global paid search and performance acquisition programs across an eight-figure annual budget. You will lead a team responsible for paid search, affiliate marketing, and directory programs, driving qualified demos, pipeline, and revenue across regions and customer segments.

This role requires deep, hands-on paid search expertise and a proven ability to manage significant investment with financial discipline. You can diagnose complex performance changes, build accurate pacing models and forecasts, and translate analysis into clear decisions. You also understand how acquisition connects to a sales-led buying process and work closely with sales teams to improve the quality and commercial impact of demand.

Location - We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, ME, MA, MD, NJ, NC, NY, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, & WA.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Lead global paid search and affiliate strategy and execution. Set direction across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including account structure, keyword strategy, bidding, audience targeting, conversion signals, ad testing, and campaign expansion. Remain close enough to the platforms to challenge recommendations and troubleshoot performance alongside your team.

  • Manage an eight-figure annual global acquisition budget. Build allocation models that balance awareness, demand creation, and demand capture across markets and programs. Partner with Integrated Media and Finance to recommend investment shifts based on business priorities, expected returns, and performance.

  • Build accurate pacing models and forecasts. Maintain annual plans, quarterly forecasts, and daily and weekly pacing models for spend and acquisition outcomes. Account for seasonality, auction dynamics, conversion rates, sales conversion lag, and regional differences.

  • Identify variance early and act on it. Establish clear monitoring and escalation routines for underdelivery, overspend, and performance changes. Explain deviations from plan, quantify their likely impact, and recommend corrective actions before month-end.

  • Optimize for qualified demos and pipeline. Evaluate performance beyond clicks, platform conversions, and cost per lead. Use downstream sales outcomes to guide bidding, targeting, budget allocation, and channel decisions.

  • Adapt acquisition strategy to AI-driven search and discovery. Evaluate how evolving search experiences and buyer behavior affect paid search, affiliates, and directories. Partner with SEO & AI Discoverability to ensure third-party listings and affiliate content support accurate positioning, visibility in AI search, and qualified demand.

  • Build a disciplined experimentation program. Test bidding approaches, automation, emerging search formats, messaging, and landing page experiences with clear hypotheses and success criteria.

  • Develop the team and operating cadence. Set priorities, coach specialists, and establish consistent standards for campaign execution, analysis, forecasting, and accountability.

  • Other duties as needed

About You

  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in performance marketing, with deep paid search expertise and experience managing and developing a team.

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, particularly in a sales-led business serving multiple customer segments and international markets.

  • A proven track record of budget management and building allocation models across awareness and demand programs, ideally within an eight-figure annual global portfolio.

  • Demonstrated success building accurate pacing models and forecasts, identifying risks early, and translating financial and performance analysis into investment decisions.

  • Advanced hands-on expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including automated bidding, conversion measurement, account architecture, and performance diagnosis.

  • Experience with affiliate marketing, software review sites, or directory acquisition programs.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, offline conversion imports, and revenue reporting.

  • Experience adapting paid search programs to changes in AI-driven search, automation, and buyer behavior.

  • Strong quantitative skills and advanced spreadsheet modeling capabilities. You can reconcile platform, analytics, and CRM data and explain the assumptions behind your recommendations.

  • Experience working directly with sales teams to connect marketing investment to qualified meetings, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue.

  • A working understanding of AI search and discovery and its implications across acquisition channels. Ability to assess how changes in buyer research, search visibility, paid placements, and third-party influence affect channel economics, attribution, and optimization.

  • Sound judgment about conversion quality, signal volume, attribution limitations, and the trade-offs involved in automated optimization.

  • Strong communication skills and experience coordinating programs across regions and functions.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
