Our Experiences team puts fans at the center of their favorite stories, in real life, through permanent entertainment venues, Netflix House, and touring attractions around the world. Netflix Houses are our permanent, always-on, constantly refreshable entertainment venues, where guests can step into their favorite stories. We want these experiences, along with merchandise offerings, to help promote love for our titles so they become part of the zeitgeist for longer periods of time and drive long-term value for Netflix.

As the Senior Manager, Operations Systems & Program Strategy, you will lead the business strategy for the various systems and processes that enable Netflix House operations including, but not limited to, labor scheduling, venue management, asset management, ticket sales, and on-site point of sale at Retail and Food locations.  In addition, this position will play a key role in developing a scaling strategy to grow Netflix House from two to many locations globally.  This position will partner closely with a variety of teams, both internal Netflix and vendors, across a variety of functional areas.

What you will do:

  • Develop a road-map for system scaling to accommodate Netflix House potential growth, leveraging data, customer/employee feedback, and other considerations (including build vs buy)

  • Partner with internal Netflix teams, including Revenue Accounting, Payments, Engineering, and Product to streamline process flows from revenue transactions including general ticketing, group sales, product bundling, F&B, retail, and potential new revenue opportunities

  • Partner with internal Netflix product teams and external vendors to enhance the overall ticketing system process flows, focusing on ease of integration with various sub-systems and scalability for new product flows

  • Partner with internal Netflix HR teams to streamline all talent and general HR processes and enable scalable systems, including labor demand, hiring, labor scheduling, and payroll/benefits

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and alignment between the Netflix House site leadership teams and corporate Netflix teams focusing on understanding of the changing/evolving on-site needs and use cases

  • Lead new product/functionality launches, partnering with vendors and internal Netflix teams to manage risk and issues

  • Align with key stakeholders across Experiences, consumer products, finance & strategy, legal, human resources, engineering, and product teams

  • Promote and foster a mindset of continuous innovation for internal teams and external partners

What we need from you:

  • Demonstrated 8-10 years of experience in program management, system management, operations system management, or similar experience

  • Strong knowledge of how systems interact within an overall organizational ecosystem, including point-of-sale, back-end accounting, and support systems

  • Detailed understanding of the program/system development process and the role of product and engineering teams interacting with end-users

  • Ability to integrate various teams to ensure smooth program delivery

  • Strong desire to think outside the box and innovate

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and digital

  • Excellent organizing skills using digital tools, Airtable, and Google suite

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
