Senior Manager, Onboarding, Training and Development
The purpose of this role is to lead the development and implementation of an effective onboarding program. The primary objective of the Sr. Manager, Onboarding, Training, and Development is to reduce the time it takes for new employees to become productive, enhance the overall employee experience, and improve the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Your role:
Responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive onboarding strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and values.
Develop and implement an onboarding program that accelerates new employees' time to productivity, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to succeed in their roles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Learning and Development, and departmental managers, to identify onboarding needs and create a standardized onboarding process.
Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify gaps in the current onboarding process and develop strategies to address them.
Design and deliver engaging and interactive onboarding materials, including orientation sessions, training modules, and resources, that align with adult learning principles and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to onboarding, employee experience, training effectiveness, and incorporate relevant advancements into the program and provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors to ensure they are equipped to effectively onboard and integrate new employees into their teams.
You're the right fit if:
8+ years of experience in talent development, learning and development, or a related field, with a focus on onboarding and training program development.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Clinical Education, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Skilled leader with the ability to manage multiple projects, influence stakeholders, motivate cross-functional teams, and implement successful onboarding programs, utilizing strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a deadline-driven environment.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

The pay ranges for this position are:
$106,875 to $171,000 (AZ, AR, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, or WV)
$112,500 to $180,000 (AL, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, or WY)
$118,125 to $189,000 (AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, or WA)
$126,000 to $201,600 (CA, CT, DC, MA, or NJ)
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
