JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX is seeking a Senior Manager, Network Engineering to lead the strategy, design, and operation of enterprise network infrastructure across all FOX business units. This role is responsible for setting the technical direction and operational excellence of both wired and wireless networks, with a strong emphasis on large-scale, high-density WiFi environments.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader and subject matter expert in enterprise networking and wireless technologies, with deep experience across Cisco, Aruba, Arista, and Palo Alto platforms. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring high-performance, secure, and resilient connectivity across corporate offices, studios, and live production environments.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and execute enterprise network strategy across all FOX business units, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of network engineers, fostering a high-performance engineering culture

  • Architect and oversee deployment of large-scale, high-density WiFi networks across campuses, studios, and live event environments

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for wireless networking, including RF design, optimization, and advanced troubleshooting

  • Establish and standardize best practices for network architecture, configuration, monitoring, and incident response

  • Drive consistency and integration across Cisco, Aruba, Arista, and Palo Alto network environments

  • Oversee network operations, including uptime, performance monitoring, and root cause analysis of complex issues

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including broadcast engineering, production, security, and IT to support mission-critical workflows

  • Implement secure network architectures leveraging segmentation, 802.1X, and Zero Trust principles

  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies to enhance network performance and operational efficiency

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Strong experience leading enterprise network engineering teams in large, complex environments

  • Expert-level knowledge of high-density WiFi design, deployment, and troubleshooting

  • Deep hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, Arista, and Palo Alto network technologies

  • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VXLAN, STP, and multicast

  • Strong understanding of wireless technologies including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, RF design, and spectrum analysis

  • Experience with network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, NAC, and 802.1X

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and wireless performance issues in high-pressure environments

  • Experience designing and operating large-scale enterprise and campus networks

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to set technical vision and drive execution across multiple teams and business units

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification

  • Experience supporting broadcast, media, or live event environments

  • Familiarity with network automation and infrastructure-as-code practices

  • Experience with cloud networking and hybrid architectures

  • Knowledge of WiFi analytics platforms and advanced monitoring tools

  • Exposure to SD-WAN and modern network observability solutions

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $143,000.00-190,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
