The Senior Manager, MarTech Ecosystem Lead is responsible for the technology ownership, performance, and continuous evolution of the MarTech content ecosystem, with a focus on Content Authoring, Digital Asset Management (DAM), Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR), integrations, and supporting capabilities.


Working closely with Commercial Marketing and Commercial IT leadership, this role translates business priorities into technology roadmaps and executable solutions while ensuring platforms operate as a connected, scalable ecosystem. The MarTech Ecosystem Lead drives strategic roadmaps, product delivery and maintenance, cross-platform alignment, vendor execution and continuous improvement to maximize the value of MarTech investments.


Key responsibilities for this role include:


1. Product Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary Commercial IT partner to the Commercial Marketing product owner, building a strong business and technology partnership with shared priorities, clear accountability, and joint ownership of outcomes.
  • Translate Commercial Marketing priorities and user needs into MarTech capabilities, priorities, and technology roadmaps.
  • Manage the technology product roadmap and lifecycle, balancing business demand with scalability, sustainability, risk, and cost.
  • Provide technology guidance and recommendations to support product decisions, investments, and future capabilities.

2. Product Delivery & Ecosystem Management

  • Lead technology product management across prioritization, delivery, release, optimization, and ongoing lifecycle management.
  • Ensure MarTech platforms operate as an integrated ecosystem with effective architecture, integrations, data flows, metadata, and supporting services.
  • Coordinate cross-platform dependencies and partner with Architecture, Data, Security, Compliance, and other technology teams to enable scalable solutions.
  • Drive effective management of product backlogs, releases, technical improvements, and platform enhancements.

3. Platform Operations & Partner Management

  • Drive platform health, integration performance, operational readiness, and continuous improvement across the MarTech ecosystem.
  • Establish consistent product governance, performance measures, and operating standards through business partnership.
  • Manage technology vendors, system integrators, and service providers, ensuring accountability for quality, performance, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate internal and external technical resources to resolve issues and support successful delivery.

4. Value & Innovation

  • Connect technology capabilities and investments to measurable outcomes such as adoption, speed-to-market, content reuse, automation, and efficiency.
  • Track product performance, utilization, cost, and value to inform prioritization and continuous improvement.
  • Support investment planning for platform enhancements, integrations, lifecycle needs, and innovation.
  • Evaluate MarTech, AI, and automation opportunities and advance high-value use cases into scalable, governed capabilities.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in Marketing technology, Commercial IT, digital platforms, or related functions
  • Experience with platforms such as Aprimo, Veeva Vault, enterprise content authoring solutions, and AI/automation capabilities is preferred.
  • Commercial or Marketing experience and understanding of content operations, omnichannel, customer engagement, or sales and marketing processes strongly preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise content and MarTech capabilities such as DAM, MLR, content authoring, CMS, CRM, omnichannel, and integrations; pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing technology products, cross-functional initiatives, vendors, system integrators, and competing priorities.
  • Strong product management, analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and influencing skills across business and technology teams.
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is: $95,000 - $193,000.
