We’re looking for a strategic and customer-centric Senior Manager, Business Intelligence, to lead and grow our BI and reporting capabilities across the Marketing & Ops organization. You will manage a team of analysts, drive the execution of high-impact analytics initiatives, and serve as a thought partner to cross-functional leaders. This role requires a balance of hands-on expertise, strategic vision, and a passion for developing people and processes that scale. 

As a leader in the analytics organization, you’ll guide the development of scalable analytical products, champion a self-service analytics culture, and ensure insights are accessible, accurate, and action oriented. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and grow a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of BI/Self-Service Analytics solutions, from stakeholder intake through delivery. Ensuring dashboards and insights are scalable, accurate, and visually compelling. 

  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders (Marketing, Ops, Finance, Enrollment, Engagement, Data Engineering, and Data Science) to define priorities, KPIs, and business needs. 

  • Serve as a key contributor to the data strategy, helping define the roadmap for enterprise BI, self-service analytics, and KPI governance. 

  • Drive enablement across the organization by establishing best practices for dashboard design, metric definitions, and insight communication. 

  • Guide the development of reusable data assets and semantic layers in collaboration with analytical engineering and data teams. 

  • Improve analytics operational efficiency via automation, standardization, and scalable processes. 

  • Provide thought leadership on how analytics can drive growth, efficiency, and improved student outcomes. 

 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or data visualization, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in a B2C organization. 

  • Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring analysts and BI professionals. 

  • Advanced Power BI expertise (including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and visual design). 

  • Strong SQL and data wrangling skills; experience working in modern data environments (e.g., Databricks, dbt, Datadog). 

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and translate complex data into strategic insights and recommendations. 

  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills; able to manage multiple priorities with clarity and speed. 

  • Excellent communication skills with a talent for data storytelling and user-centric insight delivery. 

  • Some experience with Python and GitHub is required. 

 

Bonus Points: 

  • Some experience in education, OPM, edtech, or marketing or sales analytics/functions. 

  • Familiarity with marketing funnel metrics, call center operations, or student lifecycle analytics. 

  • Some experience with BI Tools/Platform(s) like HEX or SIGMA
