The world of digital retail media, music, and television is in the midst of explosive growth as brick-and-mortar businesses seek to create savvy, personalized, and engaging experiences for their customers, patrons, and members.

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Manager of Marketing Operations who loves not just connecting all the wiring and reporting on our wins, but also wants to leverage Rockbot’s innovative, award-winning solutions to make the most of this opportunity. We’re looking for a behind-the-scenes marketing operations manager to help accelerate our growth.

You will build the connective tissue that keeps Marketing, Sales, and RevOps aligned through clean, reliable, and unified data. In the early phase, you’ll focus on system cleanup, data consistency, and process alignment; over time, you’ll take full ownership of how Rockbot’s marketing operations engine runs - from automation and attribution to reporting and enablement. This is a foundational role for a builder who thrives on bringing order to complexity and designing scalable systems that drive clarity, efficiency, and growth. You will also serve as the connector between teams ensuring every campaign, lead, and report runs on a consistent operational backbone.

You will:

  • Marketing Technology & Infrastructure
    • Own the marketing automation and CRM ecosystem, with hands-on expertise in Salesforce/HubSpot, as well as GA4. Expertise with data visualization tools like Domo, Hockeystack, Tableau, Looker, etc., is ideal.
    • Manage integrations across the martech stack, ensuring clean data flow and system reliability.
    • Evaluate and implement new technologies as needed to improve marketing performance and scalability.
  • Analytics & Reporting
    • Build and maintain dashboards in Hubspot, Salesforce, or Domo (or similar BI/data visualization platforms) to provide visibility into pipeline health, campaign ROI, funnel performance, and marketing contribution to revenue.
    • Partner with RevOps, Sales Ops, and Finance to align on goals, KPIs, and reporting standards.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to marketing and executive leadership.
  • Process & Operations
    • Understand and manage the operational complexity of scaling marketing across franchise systems, multi-location enterprises, and parent–child account hierarchies, ensuring data accuracy, attribution integrity, and visibility across both local and corporate levels.
    • Design, document, and optimize lead lifecycle processes, including lead scoring, routing, and attribution.
    • Oversee campaign operations, ensuring flawless execution and measurement of digital, demand generation, and ABM programs.
    • Champion marketing and sales alignment by driving consistency in data, reporting, and shared goals.
  • Leadership & Strategy
    • Advise on marketing planning and budget allocation, guided by data-driven insights.
    • Act as a thought partner to the SVP, Marketing, enabling informed decision-making with clear metrics.

You have:

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or a related field, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of Salesforce CRM and HubSpot Marketing Hub.
  • Strong expertise in data visualization and BI tools (Domo, Hockeystack, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Proven ability to design and optimize processes across marketing and sales functions.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights and action.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder alignment skills.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or technology industries preferred.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
