Senior Marketing Manager – Government Solutions at World Kinect

Location: Washington, D.C. preferred

Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role

Are you a strategic marketer with a passion for public sector innovation? We’re seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead our government-focused fuel sales initiatives and elevate our brand within federal, defense, and agency markets. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape marketing strategies that influence procurement decisions and drive demand in one of the most critical sectors—government energy and fuel.

You’ll collaborate closely with commercial leaders, bid teams, and global marketing peers to craft compelling campaigns, manage industry relationships, and ensure our message resonates with government buyers and contracting officers.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead Strategy: Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies for federal and defense fuel procurement, including competitive analysis, messaging, and proposal support.
  • Own the Message: Create and manage content across all touchpoints—web, social media, print, and digital—to ensure consistent and impactful communication.
  • Drive Demand: Manage lead generation and campaign performance, optimizing for conversion and ROI.
  • Represent the Brand: Attend and speak at industry events, government forums, and trade shows in collaboration with our Global Events team.
  • Strengthen Partnerships: Build and manage relationships with government procurement associations and energy networks.
  • Support Bids: Partner with the bid response team to enhance proposal success through strategic writing and design.
  • Manage Budgets: Oversee global government marketing spend and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
What You Bring
  • MBA preferred or equivalent experience in B2G marketing or bid-based go-to-market strategies.
  • Proven success in developing and executing government-focused marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, and digital marketing tools.
  • Flexibility to support global teams across time zones.
  • Strong copywriting and messaging skills, including experience with PR and media outreach in the government space.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with senior commercial leaders.
  • Project management expertise and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
