The Senior Manager of Learning and Development (L&D) will report to the Head of People and will be responsible for overseeing the creation, implementation, and management of employee development programs that enhance skills, improve productivity, and build leadership capabilities. This role ensures that all training initiatives align with SpryPoint’s strategic goals, culture, and business needs. In addition to leading learning programs, the Senior Manager of L&D will foster a high-performance, growth-driven culture across the organization and support employee engagement strategies. The Senior Manager of L&D plays a critical role in developing a continuous learning environment, ensuring employees are engaged, motivated, and progressing in their careers.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify learning needs across various departments and develop a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with SpryPoint’s long-term growth goals and supports the continuous development of all employees.
  • Develop personalized learning paths using multiple modalities that fosters a culture of continuous learning by creating accessible content that encourages employees and managers to engage regularly and take ownership of their professional development.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and demonstrate their impact on employee performance and company success.
  • Design, develop, and implement an in-house manager development program tailored to first-time and new managers, focusing on essential managerial skills such as time management, psychological safety, delegation, feedback, and team development.
  • Evaluate and ensure that our current learning platform, Talent LMS, meets the company's evolving needs, and recommend scalable, efficient solutions that provide seamless access to employees at all levels.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across People and Culture and department leads in Customer Experience and Development (two of our largest employee populations) to ensure learning initiatives are aligned with company-wide objectives and tailored to meet the unique needs of these teams, ensuring relevance and impact.
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on the progress and outcomes of learning initiatives, making adjustments as needed to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and introduce innovative learning solutions (e.g., virtual learning, AI-based learning tools).

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience working in Learning and Development at a Software company, with a minimum of 3 years in a lead role.
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and executing training programs using adult learning principles and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of learning management systems (LMS), experience using Talent LMS is a plus but not required. 
  • Experience in management/leadership development programs or coaching for high-potential employees.
  • Ability to assess and recommend tools and technologies to support the company’s evolving learning needs.
  • Experience promoting a culture of continuous learning and reporting on the effectiveness of learning programs with quantifiable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to execute on both strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Human Resources, or another related field.
