We are looking for a Senior Manager, IT Operations to lead our growing IT Operations team. This team is essential to enabling our employees to work securely, productively, and reliably. You’ll be responsible for driving excellence across our IT infrastructure, employee experience, security operations, and internal service delivery. Your leadership will help ensure the scalability and resilience of Webflow’s IT environment as we continue to expand globally.
This role is both strategic and hands-on: you will be building processes, managing infrastructure, implementing automation, and leading a team through Webflow’s next phase of growth.

- The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. We've structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.

- Zone A: $147,500 - $206,000
- Zone B: $138,000 - $193,000
- Zone C: $130,000 - $181,000
This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.

- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT operations team to ensure efficient delivery of IT services.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation within the IT operations team.
- Develop and implement performance metrics, training, and professional development programs.
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical and operational issues.
- Operational Oversight:
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Define and track KPIs around service delivery, system uptime, incident response, and user experience ensuring the effective operation of enterprise-level IT platforms, services, and applications.
- Management of all IT Asset Management (ITSM) across the enterprise.
- Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define IT operations strategy, goals, and roadmap.
- Contribute to business strategy by aligning IT operations with organizational objectives.
- Lead IT capacity planning, scalability initiatives, and disaster recovery planning.
- Process Optimization:
- Establish and maintain best practices for IT operations management and service delivery.
- Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- Drive automation, AI, and digital transformation to streamline operations.
- Business Fundamentals:
- Develop and manage IT operations budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and technology.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., engineering, security, finance) and external vendors to ensure alignment and smooth execution of IT initiatives.
- Drive technical execution and project management for IT initiatives, including office buildouts, system migrations, and tooling rollouts while following appropriate change management processes to ensure minimal disruption.

About youRequirements:
- 7+ years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure, including managing corporate IT environments in fast-paced, cloud-native companies
- 3+ years of people management experience leading high-performing IT teams
- Strong self-starter, with experience working in a remote-first, asynchronous environment
You’ll thrive as a Senior Manager, IT Operations if you:
- Are highly collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally with teams like Security, Business Technology, People, Legal, and Engineering
- Have strong vendor management and negotiation skills across hardware, software, and services
- Are experienced with ITIL principles, service management tools (e.g., Jira Service Management), and incident response frameworks
- Are comfortable rolling up your sleeves when needed to solve technical problems, particularly in areas related to systems administration, IAM, and network operations
- Are experienced supporting compliance efforts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
- Have familiarity with infrastructure-as-code or automation platforms (e.g., Terraform, Workato, BetterCloud)
- Prior experience managing IT operations for a fully remote or distributed workforce
