You will lead financial, operational, and compliance audits, develop enterprise risk assessments, and help drive process improvements that strengthen internal control and governance across the organization. This is a high-impact role with broad exposure across the business and regular interaction with senior leadership.

- Conduct internal audits, develop audit reports, and communicate findings and actionable recommendations to finance and business leadership.
- Develop and maintain internal audit policies, methodologies, and documentation standards consistent with public company best practices.
- Manage co-sourced audit resources and coordinate with external consultants and advisors as needed.
- Early identification of control gaps within the organization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on internal controls and compliance issues during process changes, system implementations, and organizational scaling.
- Promote a culture of accountability, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required. CPA, CIA, or CISA strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, public accounting (Big 4 a plus), or internal controls roles at a public company.
- Deep understanding of SOX 404, COSO framework, and risk-based audit practices.
- Experience implementing, managing, or supporting SOX compliance programs in a high-growth or newly public company environment — including from the external auditor side.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to execute audits from planning through reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across levels and departments.
- Experience working in technology, transportation, logistics, or manufacturing industries is a plus.
- Self-starter with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
What we offer:
- Competitive compensation package including equity and biannual bonuses
- Excellent Medical, Dental, and Vision plans through Kaiser Permanente, Anthem, and Guardian (including a medical plan with infertility benefits)
