The Senior Manager, Influencer and Creator Marketing will support the Sony Pictures Influencer and Creator Marketing practice across Sony Pictures Entertainment for theatrical and lifecycle. As a key pillar for all campaigns, this role is charged with helping to develop and execute influencer & creator strategy through identifying the most appropriate influencers & creators to work with on a given campaign, directing the creative work to build and launch content and tracking the results to make sure they are successful and align with campaign goals.

As a Senior Manager, this person must be passionate about digital marketing, the social media landscape and the role the creator economy has in entertainment and theatrical marketing. This person must have a sharp understanding of vetting and hand selecting creators along with how to work with them and their management. This person must operate at a high level of professionalism as they will spearhead several elements of our Influencer/Creator campaigns, including communication with key talent, publicists, agents and managers. This person will develop and maintain strong relationships with top digital influencers and creators across all social platforms, including emerging personalities, while also understanding what makes an impact in these evolving platforms.

The role will be tasked with first-to-market creator and talent driven executions for titles across social publishers like TikTok, YouTube, Meta, X and Snap while also keeping an eye on emerging trends and platforms. This person will also be managing elements of our creator campaigns with agencies, which includes briefing, vetting and approving ideas, reviewing concepts, briefs, copy, and more. They will also work very closely with the larger influencer marketing team and support two influencer and creator marketing leads which includes booking travel, grooming, billing, legal contracts and influencer event management logistics.

This person must be a true team collaborator mapping the influencer initiatives to the broader digital and global strategy and work cross-functionally with publicity/events, legal and creative content on premieres, advance screenings, content days, press junkets, press tours, on-set opportunities and more.

The Senior Manager of Influencer Marketing will help with tracking the success of campaigns through impressions/views, engagements, sentiment, with the goal of always striving for top-tier performance that makes an impact. They will work closely with senior members of our digital and social team to ensure we have end-of-campaign reports including gathering data and providing analysis, insights and recommendations.

This person will understand the evolving and fast paced influencer landscape and how to create meaningful and positive brand conversations that drive that drive social engagements and cultural currency.

Core Responsibilities

  • 40% INFLUENCER AND CREATOR CAMPAIGNS: Assist in the end-to-end execution of influencer campaigns by coordinating timelines, managing deliverables, and maintaining trackers across campaigns. Work closely with external agencies, talent teams, legal and cross-functional partners.
  • 20% CAMPAIGN ACTIVATION SUPPORT: Support with influencer logistics for premiere events, screenings, and experiential moments. Assist with guest lists, RSVPs, gifting, booking cars/travel and on-the-ground support
  • 10% PLATFORM & PUBLISHER COLLABORATION: Engage with platform partners (Meta, TikTok, Snap, YouTube, etc.) to develop innovative creator-led programs and early adoption opportunities.
  • 10% INFLUENCER & CREATOR OUTREACH: Help research and build outreach lists of creators based on campaign goals and brand needs. Assist in coordinating outreach emails, tracking responses, and managing legal contracts, approvals and communications.
  • 10% CAMPAIGN REPORTING & ANALYSIS: Collect and organize campaign metrics including reach, impressions, engagement rates, and post screenshots for wrap reports and recaps.
  • 10% BUDGET AT COST MANAGEMENT: Ensuring influencer collaborations are executed within budget, delivering maximum ROI.

Job Requirements

Knowledge of:  

  • Experience in influencer and creator marketing, with a proven track record of leading successful campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and creator/influencer dynamics, especially across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and X and trends among broad and niche creators and influencers
  • A comprehensive understanding of working with talent managers, contracts, costs, and industry best practices.
  • Creative thinker with a pulse on digital culture, internet trends, and pop culture.

Skilled In:  

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Self-starter with high level of initiative
  • Passionate, committed with a high level of energy
  • Strong sense of ownership and urgency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or higher
  • 5 - 7 years of Social/Publicity/Influencer Marketing

The anticipated base salary for this position is $109,288 to $142,075. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
