This role will own a defined portfolio of strategic partners, including product and technology partners, distributors, and referral ecosystems, with accountability for turning those partnerships into meaningful growth engines for Square.
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, Food & Beverage, this role will develop and execute the partner-level strategy, GTM approach, and activation plan for Square's largest growth partnerships. You will operate as both a strategic owner and hands-on executor, with clear accountability for measurable growth outcomes.

Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and Partner Marketing to ensure integrations support defined growth goals. Scale successful partnerships by creating repeatable activation and optimization playbooks.
Cross-Functional Leadership Lead partner initiatives cross-functionally, aligning Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Operations around shared goals. Provide structured partner feedback and market insights to influence product and GTM decisions. Advocate for partners while maintaining disciplined prioritization and strong business judgment.
Measurement and Accountability Own performance metrics for your portfolio, including lead generation, seller acquisition, pipeline contribution, and product adoption. Use data and insights to continuously refine partner-level strategy and execution.
What you bring:
9+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, growth, or product partnerships within SaaS, fintech, payments, or vertical software. Proven ability to build growth partnerships and activate them into high-impact GTM motions. Experience negotiating and managing partnerships that include integrations, commercial terms, and joint GTM execution. Strong cross-functional leadership skills, particularly with Product and Sales teams. Demonstrated ability to connect partnership work directly to seller acquisition, adoption, and revenue impact.
Experience includes building and scaling growth-driving partner ecosystems within vertical SaaS or industry-specific markets; activating partnerships into repeatable acquisition channels; designing and operationalizing complex, multi-party GTM motions; and leading through influence across Product, Sales, Marketing, and executive stakeholders.
