Job Description Summary
The Senior Manager Global Functions Communications will be responsible for implementing a global communications strategy for the global function Technology and support Finance, Transformation and Growth (T&G) and Legal and Compliance as needed. The role is the communications business partner for the Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) a member of the Sandoz Global Leadership Team (SLT). The incumbent is responsible for the execution of communications strategies to drive the functions’ business objectives and performance to positively impact Sandoz vision and growth in collaboration with the Director Global Functions Communications. The role reports to the Head of Strategic Communications and will be an integral part of the global Sandoz Corporate Communications team.Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Delivery of impactful and engaging communications strategies and plans for Finance, T&G, Legal & Compliance, Technology
- Act as a communications business partner to the CDIO and the leadership team in collaboration with the Director Global Functions Communications
- Advise on all communications topics – strategy, employee engagement, change management communications, external communications; drive and manage thought leadership for CDIO
- Support activation of a communications narrative and program for the strategy of the supported functions as well as their operating model; ensure alignment of tone, voice, and messaging across internal and external platforms.
- Coordinate communications and engagement around the legal and compliance function in alignment with overall communications strategy and priorities
- Work with the Director Global Functions Communications to Identify and secure speaking opportunities, media engagements, and industry recognition in line with the Sandoz thought leadership framework. Craft impactful messages, speeches, and social media content that reflect leadership vision and organizational priorities. Oversee creation of high-impact content including blogs, videos, newsletters, and presentations. Build relationships with media and industry influencers as part of the thought leadership strategy as appropriate
- Design and implement a function-to-function internal communications plan for Legal & Compliance which promotes associate engagement and shapes culture; communicate enterprise relevant topics in collaboration with global internal communications as required
- Work in close collaboration with human resources and global internal communications to create a uniform and engaging Sandoz employee experience as appropriate
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Communications or related field beneficial
- 5+ years of relevant experience creating and executing high-level internal and external communication plans in a dynamic environment. Healthcare and Pharmaceutical experience optional.
- Strategic thinker and hands-on implementer
- Adept at working in highly matrixed corporate environments
- Successful track record in internal engagement and change communications
- Fluent English, further languages desirable
