Job Environment
This is a key managerial role within the Global Technology Solutions (GTS) organization, responsible for delivering the vision for ResMed’s financial systems. The role acts as a strategic linkage between global finance functions and GTS at the Product Owner and business unit level, providing high‑value consulting and guidance across major initiatives.
Finance applications are delivered as products in an Agile environment. This role leads a Finance Squad responsible for building, configuring, maintaining, enhancing, and supporting finance products throughout their lifecycle.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Partner with Global Process Owners to improve business and technical fitness of the application portfolio while minimizing ongoing support costs
Act as a subject matter expert supporting application delivery and business improvements aligned with commercial and strategic objectives
Build productive relationships with Global Process Owners and key users to identify and realize new sources of value
Support the development of overall GTS strategy in collaboration with the Director – Business Applications and the Senior Director – Finance and Business Platforms
Drive user education initiatives to enhance application adoption and support a super‑user community
Provide people leadership to squad members, developing skills and capabilities to meet current and future organizational needs
Position‑Specific Challenges
Develop a customer‑focused squad that proactively identifies issues and supports users across multiple global locations
Demonstrate flexibility in working across time zones and outside local business hours when required

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum
12+ years of Oracle ERP implementation experience
18+ years of experience in financial application support and development
Experience implementing Oracle Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, CE, FA)
3–5 full lifecycle implementations in Oracle financial modules
Strong knowledge of financial systems and business processes
Functional understanding of income statements, consolidation methods, and financial disclosure
Experience working in multinational organizations
Experience documenting workflows using tools such as Visio, Miro, or Draw.io
Knowledge of accounting conventions and local legislative requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Preferred
Oracle Fusion experience
EBS (R12) to Fusion migration experience
Previous supervisory or people leadership experience
CPA, CA, or similar qualification
Experience with Oracle EPM
Accounting or finance background
Experience with M&A integrations
EDI implementation experience
Oracle Financial module certifications (AP, AR, GL, etc.)

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position: $162,000.00 - $242,000.00 USD Annual.
