Title: Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis - Alastin

Location: Carlsbad, CA (preferred) or Miami, FL

Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis - Alastin is a key strategic partner to executive leadership and department heads within the Alastin business unit, driving financial rigor across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring 7–10+ years of progressive finance experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of business performance metrics in an omni-channel dermatological skincare or consumer goods environment. This individual will be responsible for leading budget and forecast processes, mid range planning, evaluating business performance, and guiding strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Support
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, product pricing, business cases, margin improvement, and multichannel revenue analysis.
    • Partner with the Head of Finance, General Manager and leadership teams to provide financial insights that will drive the business unit’s strategic priorities and key initiatives.
    • Prepare materials for executive updates, leadership team meetings, and business reviews, including developing clear and compelling presentations and dashboards.
    • Lead company-wide financial planning, budgeting, and long-range strategic planning cycles, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and alignment across functions
    • Own all financial reporting processes including monthly and quarterly business reviews, management reporting, including budgets, GM, GTN and S&OP.
    • Deliver detailed variance analyses and performance reporting with clear, data-driven narratives and strategic insights.
    • Collaborate with the executive team and department heads to develop financial strategies that support company objectives, growth initiatives, and cost optimization.
    • Champion process improvements and implementation of reporting automation tools to streamline forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business drivers, providing recommendations to optimize results.
    • Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls; support audit readiness and documentation.
    • Act as a strategic finance advisor across the Alastin business.
    • Present to executive teams and collaborate across many departments

Skills & Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance,
  • Superior analytical and modeling skills, in-depth experience with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into business insights.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Experience in omni-channel skincare, consumer goods, or HCP industries strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects and aligning stakeholders toward a common goal.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CPA, MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
