Connor Group is a specialized professional services firm of Big 4 alumni and industry executives. Our team of highly experienced professionals assists financial executives with their most critical business needs, by way of providing Accounting Advisory, Financial Operations, IPO, M&A, and Operational Accounting services.

Responsibilities

·       Lead multiple engagement teams and/or a variety of project components, including participating in or leading the review of client deliverables

·       Develop and articulate project execution methodology and own the delivery of solutions

·       Provide high quality client service and project deliverables

·       Act as trusted advisor for key client contacts

·       Prepare and monitor budgets and client billings

·       Participate in business development calls and activities

·       Identify opportunities to expand project scope and workstreams at clients

·       Coach, mentor and develop team members

Desired Skills & Experience

·       Subject matter expertise in key business and finance processes (close process, financial planning & analysis, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, revenue etc.) and related internal controls

·       Experience in helping companies identify improvements in key process areas, including controls, and in assisting with implementing those improvements

·       Dynamic leadership and excellent project management skills

·       Strong analytical and problem solving skills 

·       Excellent interpersonal, writing, communication, and presentation skills

·       Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

·       Exposure to financial systems and tools beneficial (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, BlackLine, Zuora, Coupa, Hyperion, Business Intelligence Databases)

·       CPA and or MBA preferred

·       Minimum 7+ years business consulting/advisory/auditing/industry experience required

·       Technology industry experience highly preferred

·       Some travel is required (about 25%)
