As Senior Manager, Engineering, you’ll oversee a growing team responsible for building scalable data services and generative AI products that power both internal systems and customer-facing innovations. You’ll balance technical leadership with people management, ensuring alignment across multiple work streams and product teams.

Game Plan - How You'll Drive Impact:
  • Lead and scale a cross-functional team focused on Data Infrastructure and Generative AI applications.
  • Prioritize and coordinate across numerous concurrent workstreams spanning multiple internal product teams.
  • Partner closely with product management to define priorities and roadmaps for both data and AI initiatives.
  • Drive technical alignment and architectural decisions across data pipelines, service oriented architectures, and AI integrations.
  • Guide team members’ professional development and performance, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Support hands-on design and coding; maintaining strong technical understanding of the system’s architecture and capabilities.

The Ideal Recruit - Skills & Experience:
  • 4+ years of engineering management experience and 5+ years as an individual contributor prior to that.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across distributed systems and multi-team environments.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and API-driven systems; experience with Python- and TypeScript-based stacks preferred.
  • Background in Generative AI product development is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling engineering teams within high-growth or startup environments.
  • Experience managing project prioritization and stakeholder communication across multiple business units.

Compensation Philosophy:

For this role, the salary range/target is $215,000, with your final offer determined by your experience, skills, and interview performance. Every Teamworks teammate is an owner, with equity aligning your success with ours.
