The Senior Manager, Downstream Marketing role is a critical leadership role within the Global Downstream Marketing organization. In this position, you will help lead our Pulmonary Embolism (PE) franchise that includes our flagship product Flowtriever.  Core responsibilities include defining, executing, tracking, and optimizing the global marketing strategy for our market‑leading PE platform, with a strong focus on launch planning and execution. Additionally, you will lead the creation and implementation of our global market development strategy for current and future products.  This high‑visibility, high‑impact role offers the opportunity to lead a team and meaningfully influences both the current and future commercial success of the company.

What you will do

  • Develop and drive implementation of the marketing strategy for the Pulmonary Embolism (PE) franchise, including creating a robust Annual Marketing Plan utilizing Stryker’s AMP template and marketing frameworks.
  • Support the collection and analysis of global VOC insights to help identify key gaps and opportunities that will inform commercial planning and execution.
  • Work cross functionally with various stakeholders to ensure successful execution of global marketing strategy.
  • Continuously assess the value proposition, messaging, and collateral for our PE franchise, identifying key opportunities for new or enhanced messaging, positioning, tools, and/or programs.
  • Formulate and execute downstream promotional strategies to drive product adoption and growth based on market trends and competitive marketplace activity.
  • Routinely partner and communicate with the sales force regarding product updates and availability, competitive activity, product positioning, messaging, and best practices.
  • Lead a team of 2 marketers, fostering a culture of excellence and providing coaching, guidance, strategic direction, and development opportunities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant clinical literature and competitive landscape.
  • Develop, launch, and optimize high-impact market development programs, analyzing data and field feedback to determine program effectiveness and making modifications accordingly.
  • Analyze and report regularly on product and program performance via key data metrics.
  • Create and manage KOL relationships to support product launch and key educational program activities.
  • Support tradeshow activities for the product portfolio and support conferences in person when feasible.
  • Partner effectively with all cross-functional stakeholders and present to / interact with Senior Leadership on a regular basis.

What you need

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years of work experience.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree.
  • Marketing and/or sales experience in the medical device space.
  • People management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet established timelines.

$149,200.00 - $248,500.00 USD salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 30%
