We’re on the hunt for a strong Operations leader to join Sun Day Red as Senior Manager Demand and Supply Planning. This position is responsible for delivering operational plans to support sales, service, inventory and financial objectives. This leader oversees the design and development of reporting tools to support seasonal and monthly demand and supply modeling. They are an expert in using data analytics to improve forecast accuracy, align inventory management with revenue forecasts, and reduce stock obsolescence. The Planning organization works cross-functionally with Merchandising, Sales and Finance to ensure efficient supply chain management.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads both demand and supply planning functions, delivering accurate and timely forecasting results.
  • Develops Product Category forecasts at the style, style-color and SKU level, aligning to financial forecasts.
  • Manages capacity constrained supply requirements which support service, inventory, and cost objectives.
  • Oversees monthly Consensus, Open to Buy and Trade Working Capital deliverables.   
  • Directs the Sales and Operations planning process to align forecasts with business strategies.
  • Lead Planning System initiatives in partnership with other global planning teams and IT. 
  • Builds annual, seasonal, and monthly demand models in alignment with sales channel revenue plans.
  • Partners cross functionally identifying product supply risks and provides recommendations on how to action.
  • Delivers solutions managing healthy days of supply and balancing inventory availability by channel.
  • Develops and implements reporting tools and capabilities to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Motivates and inspires a strong planning organization to achieve best-in-class service to our customers.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced working knowledge of apparel planning and supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise resource planning software functionality.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data modeling.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels.
  • Ability to accurately assess talent and effectively motivate and influence others to build skills, efficiently accomplish tasks, and develop leading edge processes.

Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Finance, or Business Economics (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in planning and/or supply chain management.
  • 5+ years of experience leading a team.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone usage.
  • Ability to work extended hours as necessary.
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-pace hyper-growth environment.
  • Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $150,000 - $165,000. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
