We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Distribution Operations to lead our central distribution services team. You’ll oversee the end-to-end delivery of materials across all business lines, ensuring accuracy, quality, and on-time performance for internal platforms and third-party partners. You’ll also guide teams through new systems and workflows, manage vendor performance, and strengthen cross-department collaboration.
You’ll serve as a key connector between production, materials, vendors, and sales teams, helping guide the organization through new systems, processes, and continuous improvements. Your deep experience in media servicing will enable you to lead your team effectively and support the company’s growing global footprint.
As the Senior Manager of Distribution Operations, you will report directly to the Director of Distribution Operations. This role works a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite at our Los Angeles office.
What You'll Do- Lead, mentor, and develop distribution team members and team leads
- Ensure projects run smoothly while managing timelines, priorities, and risks
- Establish reporting, tracking, and operational standards
- Document and refine SOPs; identify opportunities for improvement
- Act as a servicing subject-matter expert for client specs and system development
- Partner closely with production, vendors, sales, and other internal teams
- Set OKRs, monitor metrics, and lead post-mortems to drive continuous improvement

- 7-10 years of experience in digital or broadcast content management with at least 3 years leading a team or workflows.
- A strong understanding of the media servicing ecosystem
- Experience leading teams that support diverse clients across multiple lines of business
- Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills—and the ability to build meaningful relationships
- Quick, diplomatic problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity
- Familiarity with anime, pop culture trends, and current entertainment landscapes
