Drive customer onboarding, retention, and revenue expansion through multi-channel marketing strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
ActiveCampaign is seeking a Senior Manager, Customer Marketing, to drive customer onboarding, upgrade/expansion revenue, and retention. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in driving growth as part of the ActiveCampaign revenue and performance team. You will develop and activate a multi-touch strategy across marketing channels, in-application, and direct with sales and customer success teams. You will also drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment with marketing, product growth, sales, onboarding, and customer success teams to action customer marketing strategies that improve retention rates and drive revenue expansion through the post-trial funnel.
What your day could consist of:
- Improve new customer onboarding, activate upsell/cross-sell opportunities across teams, and execute on customer retention initiatives
- Develop and execute customer marketing strategies that increase customer engagement, satisfaction, and revenue.
- Create and manage customer segmentation and targeting strategies to optimize the customer journey.
- Develop and execute email, SMS, WhatsApp, and in-app campaigns to engage customers across multiple channels.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize results and ROI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, customer success, and analytics to drive continuous optimizations and best in class customer experience across all lifecycle programs and activations.
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of customer behavior, preferences, and needs to inform marketing strategy.
- Develop and maintain a testing and experimentation framework to continuously improve campaign performance and customer experience.
- Manage and coach a team of 2 associates.
What is needed:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in customer marketing or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in people management
- B2B SaaS experience required
- Strong understanding of customer behavior and segmentation
- Excellent communications skills across all mediums, and all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform decisions
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation
- Experience with SMS and/or WhatsApp a plus
- Experience with Pendo or Candu a plus
