Who we are:

The Consumer Strategy and Insights team at WeightWatchers is the central hub for understanding the company's members and prospective members. The team's primary role is to develop and implement consumer-centric strategies that drive business growth and innovation. They do this by combining qualitative and quantitative research to uncover deep insights into consumer behavior, motivations, and needs.

This team works cross-functionally, collaborating with product, marketing, and experience teams to ensure that the voice of the consumer is represented in all key business decisions. Ultimately, the team's goal is to ensure that WeightWatchers' products and services are highly relevant and effective for its current and prospective members. 

What you will do:

The Senior Manager, Consumer Strategy and Insights will play a critical role in leading our strategic projects. You'll provide deep insights into consumer behavior, market and product trends, and the competitive landscape. This role is vital for developing and executing our consumer insights, ensuring they address key business objectives. You'll work as a trusted partner to leaders across the organization, providing data-driven recommendations that drive impactful change.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Consumer research: Conducting surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one interviews to understand the competitive landscape and identify emerging trends.
  • Data analysis and synthesis: Utilizing data from various sources (e.g., app usage, member feedback, and sales data) to create a holistic view of the member journey and experience.
  • Strategic planning: Translating insights into actionable recommendations and long-term strategic plans for the business, building crisp and cohesive business cases that put the customer at the heart of our decisionmaking. 
  • Insights and Analysis: Support the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research studies to uncover deep consumer insights. Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify new opportunities and inform strategy.
  • Collaboration and Influence: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations. You will champion the voice of the consumer throughout the organization.
  • Communication: Create compelling presentations and reports that effectively communicate insights to diverse audiences.

Who you are:

  • 7-10 years of experience in consumer insights, strategy consulting, market research, or a related analytical role, preferably within a consumer-facing industry such as CPG, tech, or wellness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize large, complex data sets into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proven experience in designing and executing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including segmentation (k-means, latent class), MaxDiff, conjoint, brand tracking, NPS.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Demonstrated track record of translating complex data into clear, actionable business strategies that have driven measurable impact.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A passion for health, wellness, and empowering individuals on their weight-loss journey is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

Base salary may vary depending on, but not limited to: skills, experience, and location.  This role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus program.

US Pay Range
$135,000$145,000 USD
