The Senior Manager of Cloud Security leads a team to design and implement cloud security strategies and solutions across various platforms, focusing on AWS.
The Sr. Manager, Cloud Security is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud security controls across multiple cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS). Reporting to the CISO, this Senior Manager of Cloud Security will be critical in securing Included Health's product infrastructure. This is a remote role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of cloud security engineers in developing, and implementing cloud security solutions
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate cloud security controls into existing systems and architectures (e.g., Istio, Docker)
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud security strategy that aligns with business objectives and industry best practices
- Develop cloud-native security solutions using technologies such as Istio, Docker, and AWS services like EKS, RDS, ALB/ELB, and IAM
- Oversee the deployment and management of cloud security tools and technologies across multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies for cloud-based services and applications
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure and services (EKS, RDS, ALB/ELB, IAM)
- Proven expertise in designing robust distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, regulations, and standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, HiTRUST)
- Experience with Istio or Docker, with the ability to integrate these technologies into cloud security designs
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
- Capability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
- Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
Pay:
The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $174,320 - $246,230 + equity + benefits
Zone B: $191,752 - $270,853 + equity + benefits
Zone C: $209,184 - $295,476 + equity + benefits
Zone D: $226,616 - $320,099+ equity + benefits

Starting base salary for you will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include education; training; skills; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; our needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and understanding of geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and great compensation package based on their roles and locations.
