Role Overview
DroneDeploy’s go-to-market engine is scaling fast, and the systems beneath it need to scale with it. As the Senior Manager of Business Systems, you will own the architecture, automation, integrations, and data foundations that connect Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success into one revenue engine. You will report to the Senior Director of Revenue Operations & Strategy, lead a small team, and partner across RevOps, Demand Generation, Field Marketing, BDR Operations, Sales Operations, Data, and GTM Engineering. This is a builder-manager role for someone who can modernize the stack, ship practical improvements quickly, and raise the technical bar across the function.
Work Environment
Work from Home: Remote-first within the United States, with strongest collaboration overlap in Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zones.
Business Travel: Up to 10% travel for company events and in-person working sessions.
AI tooling: AI tooling is part of the role; you will be expected to use and improve AI-powered workflows across the GTM tech stack.
Responsibilities
Own the GTM systems stack end-to-end, including Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, Marketo, Clay, ZoomInfo, CommonRoom and the integrations between them.
Lead Salesforce architecture and governance across objects, fields, flows, validation rules, routing logic, and integration endpoints.
Build automation and AI-powered workflows that remove manual work across lead routing, lifecycle management, handoffs, enrichment, and other core GTM motions.
Own data quality and enrichment infrastructure across Salesforce and Marketo to support ABM, outbound, forecasting, and operational visibility.
Turn ambiguous requests from Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success into scalable system solutions with clear tradeoffs, strong follow-through, and durable documentation.
Manage and develop a small team, set priorities, unblock work, and create the operating rhythm that keeps GTM systems fast, reliable, and maintainable.
Requirements
5+ years in GTM Systems or Revenue Operations in B2B SaaS.
1+ years leading direct reports in a systems, operations, or technical admin environment.
Deep, hands-on Salesforce expertise, including org design, flows, custom objects, field governance, and integration architecture.
Experience with CPQ, Clay, ZoomInfo, and ideally CommonRoom or similar intent and enrichment platforms.
Track record of designing AI-powered workflows in a GTM context and a practical point of view on where AI creates real leverage.
Strong analytical instincts, high standards for data quality, and enough SQL fluency to validate metrics and support reporting foundations.
Expertise with BDR operations, segmented lead routing, and multi-geo GTM motions is a plus.
Background in supporting usage-based or consumption models is a plus.
Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator is a strong plus.
Drone Certification: Not required for this role.
