Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Build inventory projections aligned with revenue plans, product mix, and demand outlook.
- Improve inventory accuracy and working‑capital efficiency through data‑driven insights and process improvements.
- Monitor excess and at‑risk inventory; partner with Sales to reduce exposure and accelerate sell‑through of reserved materials.
Cost Optimization & Efficiency
- Lead cost‑saving initiatives across the Business Unit in partnership with Finance, External Manufacturing, and Engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain a structured cost‑saving tracker to measure progress, validate results, and communicate impact to leadership.
5‑Year Capacity Planning
- Own long‑range (5‑year) supply targets and collaborate with the Corporate Capacity team on optimization and transfer strategies.
- Track required capex and monitor execution status to support technology and growth roadmaps.
- Present capacity strategies and investment recommendations to senior leadership.
- Represent the Business Unit in Corporate Supply Chain discussions, ensuring alignment on strategy, priorities, and decisions.
- Define and deliver required capacity inputs, including loading strategy, to the Capacity team.
Supply Constraint Management
- Act as the primary escalation point for supply shortages, wafer allocation challenges, and unexpected disruptions across the semiconductor supply chain.
- Lead cross‑functional task forces to mitigate risks, secure alternative supply paths, and maintain business continuity.
- Develop proactive contingency plans and scenario models to reduce exposure to volatility.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Product teams to ensure alignment and operational readiness.
- Communicate performance updates, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing operations team.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Must have semiconductor industry experience (minimum 5 years).
- 8–12+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or manufacturing, including leadership responsibility.
- Strong background in inventory planning, cost optimization, and long‑range capacity modeling.
- Experience working with semiconductor supply ecosystems (fabs, OSATs, materials suppliers, external manufacturing partners).
- Proven ability to manage supply constraints and drive cross‑functional alignment.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, and highly technical environment.

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $169,050.00 to $287,500.00 Range exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
